Season's Greetings!
On behalf of CARIE, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and those you love the happiest of holidays and all the best for 2007! It’s hard to believe that 2006 is almost over. The year presented countless challenges for older adults especially with the implementation of Medicare Part D. CARIE accomplished many goals and we were particularly pleased to have launched an updated website to provide important educational resources and updates. As another year approaches, CARIE will continue to work hard responding to the needs of older adults who contact our CARIE LINE and Ombudsman programs troubled by problems and often needing immediate assistance. We will also continue to advocate for improved public policies and look forward to initiating our long term care ethics curriculum in 2007.
